. IS DANIELLE A PROFESSIONALLY LICENSED STYLIST?
Yes! Danielle began her professional career in 2012. Before opening Danielle Aichelle Artistry and becoming a full time bridal specialist, Danielle was behind the chair in the salon from 2012-2016, Then opened her home salon in 2017, After a couple years of hair at home Danielle realized she was meant to be in the wedding industry and found a love for updos. Now she specializes in Bridal hair and offers in studio or on location hair.
WHEN SHOULD I RESERVE MY WEDDING DATE?
We always recommend securing your glam squad as soon as possible. Wedding dates during the peak season months of April-November can fully book up 1 year in advance.
WHAT IS REQUIRED TO RESERVE MY WEDDING DATE?
A signed contract and 50% non-refundable deposit is required upfront to reserve your wedding date. The deposit will be deducted from the final balance on the wedding day.
WHEN IS PAYMENT DUE?
Payment for the remaining balance and any additional fees such as travel fees are all due NO LATER than the day prior to the wedding. The remaining balance must be submitted in 1 payment via a Square Invoice link that Danielle will send to the bride directly or by Email transfer.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE PER PERSON?
The bridal style is a 1 1/2 hour appointment time and everyone else will be scheduled for 45 minutes to 1 hour per person. If any bridesmaids, mothers, or attendants are wearing hair extensions or have long/thick hair, an extra 15 minutes or more will need to be applied to their appointment time. These timings are the MINIMUM required time.
DO YOU COME TO ME OR DO I COME TO YOU?
All wedding day services will take place at the location of the brides choosing. Bridal trials will take place in Danielle’s Studio located in Danielle’s home in Red Deer, Alberta or travel is available at a custom travel rate.
WHEN SHOULD I SCHEDULE MY BRIDAL TRIAL?
Weather is a huge factor in how hair will style, so we recommend planning your trial 2-4 months prior to your wedding date.
CAN I DO A TRIAL BEFORE SECURING MY DATE?
Our bridal trials are exclusive to our Brides, therefore your date must be already secured to schedule your bridal trial.
IS A BRIDAL TRIAL REQUIRED?
We do not require a trial but we HIGHLY recommend one. If you are unable to do a bridal trial, we will add additional time on the wedding to day ensure a detailed consultation.
WHY DOES THE BRIDE COST MORE THAN THE REST OF THE BRIDAL PARTY?
Bridal styles are more elaborate, detailed, and take double the time of the everyone else.
IF I HAVE SHORTER OR LONGER HAIR, WILL THE PRICING CHANGE?
All rates posted are final and rates will not increase or decrease based on the length of hair.
DO YOU PROVIDE STYLING FOR JR.BRIDESMAIDS & FLOWER GIRLS?
Jr. Bridesmaids and Bridesmaids are the same rate as they have the same amount of hair as the bridesmaids, therefore take the same amount of time. We do offer styling for flower girls too.
DO YOU REQUIRE A SERVICE MINIMUM?
Wedding day bookings must meet a 4 service minimum. If your having a weekday wedding then a minimum of 2 is required.
WHAT IF I CANT MEET THE SERVICE MINIMUM? DO YOU MAKE EXCEPTIONS?
When a bride reserves a wedding date, she is reserving the entire date. We will not book more than 1 wedding per day. For this reason a service minimum is required and non-negotiable. If you are unable to meet the service minimum, you will be responsible for covering the balance of the missing service(s).
WHAT IF I HAVE TO CHANGE MY WEDDING DATE BUT HAVE ALREADY SUBMITTED A CONTRACT AND DEPOSIT?
Deposit are transferrable (one reschedule date only). When you are reserving your wedding date, you are reserving that specific date. If you need to change your wedding date for any reason, you can change the date once and after that you will be required to sign a new contract and submit a new non-refundable retainer.
SHOULD MY HAIR BE CLEAN OR DIRTY?
We ask in our bridal contract that you and your party arrive with CLEAN, fully dried hair.
ARE YOU ABLE TO TRAVEL TO 2 DIFFERENT LOCATIONS?
Yes, however we do recommend against this as it will elongate to the daily schedule and runs the risk of us running behind. If travel to 2 different locations is required, additional fees will apply.
HOW MANY WEDDINGS WILL YOU DO PER DAY?
When you reserve the wedding date, you are reserving the full date. We will only take one wedding per day. This is also why we implement a service minimum.
